MD, PhD Zuzanna piechota

Graduate of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. Specialises in musculoskeletal diagnostics and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures under ultrasound guidance. Within musculoskeletal diagnostics, he is particularly interested in imaging sports injuries. Her interest in musculoskeletal radiology has accompanied her since the beginning of her professional activity. She started her radiological activity in the Department of Imaging Diagnostics at the Trauma Surgery Hospital in Piekary Śląskie. She did part of her specialisation programme at the King's Collage teaching hospital in London.

Apart from her clinical work, Zuzanna Piechota is also involved in scientific and didactic activities. Since 2019, she has been associated with the journal European Radiology, which is the chief scientific journal of the European Society of Radiology (ESR). There he takes up the position of junior vice-editor and reviewer in musculoskeletal radiology. From 2017 to 2019, she served as a lecturer at the Zygfryd Wawrzynka Silesian School of Ultrasonography . In the course of her professional activity, she has actively participated as a lecturer at scientific conferences on musculoskeletal diagnostics (among others: 6th Sport & Arthritis msk Conference- Poznań 2019; European Congress of Radiology - Vienna 2016, 2018).

Shge is a member of radiological scientific societies such as: Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), European Society of Radiology (ESR) I European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR).
