MD, PhD Piotr landowski
Gastroenterologist
Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Gdansk (1992r) and since then has been an independent research and didactic employee of the Chair and Clinic of Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Allergology and Child Nutrition of the Medical University of Gdansk and the Endoscopy Lab at the "Copernicus" Hospital, where for over 25 years he has been performing endoscopic examinations of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract in the diagnostic and therapeutic range. Piotr Landowski is certified by the Polish Society of Gastroenterology to perform these tests. He did a six-month internship in surgical endoscopy at the Princess Fabiola Hospital in Brussels, where he obtained the right to practice medicine in Belgium. Belongs to the group initiating and establishing in the Pomeranian Voivodship the method and procedure of parenteral and enteral nutrition. Received his doctorate in medicine in 2001.
Piotr Landowski is the author or co-author of almost 200 scientific and didactic publications.
He is a member of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Child Nutrition and ECCO - European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation. Since 2000, he has been president of the "J-elita" Association for people suffering from inflammatory bowel disease.
In 2017, he received the "Sensitive Man" award at the Sensitive Festival given by the chronically ill community. During his work he participated in many national and international Scientific Conventions, Conferences and Symposia.
