Neurologist
Graduated from Karol Marcinkowski Poznań University of Medical Sciences in Poznań. He did his doctoral studies at the Poznan Medical University and at the Neuroradiology Division, Department of Radiology, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
He is a specialist in neurology. His research interests focus on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the central nervous system in vascular and demyelinating diseases, treatment and rehabilitation of cognitive disorders and speech deficits after stroke, novel therapies for multiple sclerosis and imaging of intracranial vessels in transcranial ultrasound with colour imaging.
Mikołaj A. Pawlak is an assistant in the Department of Neurology and Vascular Diseases of the Nervous System at the MSWiA Hospital in Poznań, he worked in the Neuroradiology Section of the Radiology Department at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and in the Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS).
