Graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. Jan Nyckowski completed his specialised training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System In the Infant Jesus Clinical Hospital - Warsaw (2012-2013) and in the Department of Traumatic and Orthopaedic Surgery of Mikołaj Kopernik Hospital in Gdańsk (former Railway Hospital) (2013-2018). He obtained his specialist title in 2018. Since then he has continued to work in the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery as a senior assistant.
Jan Nyckowski is a member of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor system as a and. His main areas of interest in surgery are hip and knee alloplasties and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
He is a doctor for Tricity (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) sports teams: Trefl Gdańsk and Trefl Sopot. Cooperates with the Polish Volleyball Federation as a medical coordinator of sporting events. He is a licensed FIVB doctor.
Currently, Jan Nyckowski, an orthopaedic surgeon from Gdansk, Poland, is in the process of writing his PhD thesis on the causes of hip osteoarthritis.
